Configure Your Feed

Configuring your feed couldn't be easier, just go to 'Configure Feed' and follow these simple steps.

Insert your affiliate id's (Required), Insert your chosen tracking id's (Optional)
Your affiliate id's are provided by the networks and used in your affiliate links to identify that you are the referer.
The tracking id's can be anything you like, they are used in your affiliate links but for your reference use only.

Sort your merchant status for each network into 'not joined', ''joined' and 'rejected'
Merchants you have selected as JOINED will contain YOUR affiliate ID’s.
Merchants you have selected as NOT JOINED will contain OUR affiliate ID’s or link directly to the merchant.
Merchants you have selected as REJECTED will not be included.

Tick which categories you want to include in your category feed.
This doesn't have a direct effect on the main feeds for units, it is just used in the feed listing the categories.
It may not have any effect on scripts you are using unless it has been coded to do so.
The iCodes Framework sites use this feed to create the category menu.

Tick which networks you want to include in your network feed.
This doesn't have a direct effect on the main feeds or units, it is just used in the feed listing the networks.

Important Notes
Make sure you include the parameter &Relationship=joined to each of your webservices requests within your website coding to tell the api you only want to import 'joined' merchants.

Some third party scripts have not been coded with this option, so if you want to include only joined merchants in your feeds place all unwanted merchants on all networks (irrelevant of if you have the network ticked or not) in the 'rejected' column.

The reasons why we include 'not joined' merchants in your feeds as default (using our id's) was due to requests from users wanting to promote all merchants even if they had not yet joined to them, this not only helps prevent your visitors from looking elsewhere, it also helps getting your site indexed in the search engines ready for when you join the merchants.

Another benefit of using our id's on 'not joined' merchants is if you are starting out you can have a fully functional site which you can use to apply to merchants in order to get accepted (without this it's a catch 22 trying to get accepted)
